In other words, Kolkata kindle provides a platform to journal articles related to Human Resource Management. It has the underlying objective of granting the HR Fraternity a fertile ground for the germination of new thoughts and ideas.

At each stage of life, a man’s learning has further kindled curiosity towards organized as well as accidental learning. Guideline for Contributors:

The Editorial Committee invites contribution to HR/IR and related verticals as under :

  • Perspective based contributions
  • Concept-based contributions
  • General or Empirical Research
  • Best Practices/Experiences/Interventions Transforming into Business Results.
  • Case Studies and Book Reviews etc.

Rules to keep in mind :

  1. Format and Delivery: Email us your contributions, preferably in .doc format at the designated email ID.
  2. Technological Compliance: Further to (1 above) we reserve the right to advise authors to send contributions in a format in the event that it does not meet the technological requirement at their end.
  3. Technological Non-Compliance: Authors need to comply with (2 above) failing where we therefore reserve the right to reject the contribution.
  4. Non-Delivery Disclaimer: We shall not be responsible for not receiving any contribution due to a transmission/technological problems.
  5. Criteria Compliance: Contributions must satisfy the basic criteria as we intimidate over invite mails from time to time to the prospective authors. ( as outlined above )
  6. Word Limit: All contributions must be between 1500-2500 words. In exceptional cases, We reserve the right to consider contribution beyond the indicated limit.
  7. Referencing Style:  For secondary data-based research contributions, mention detailed references. Preferably, use Harvard Referencing.
  8. Notification of Acceptance: We shall duly notify the authors whose contributions will be selected for publication.
  9. Review Period:  We shall consider publishing contributions submitted, within 6 months or 1 subsequent edition whichever falls later.
  10. Back to Back Contributions:  Back to back contributions shall not be considered for publication. However, if selected we shall retain them and publish within a period of 1 year.
  11. Acceptance: We shall make the final decisions regarding the selection of contributions, editorial changes, and associated formatting.
  12. Contributions Published Elsewhere: In case your contribution is published elsewhere, please seek permission for using the same in Kolkata Kindle.
  13. Future Referencing: Authors may freely quote their contributions in other publications with due credit to Kolkata Kindle with complete details of volume, issue, and the page number.
  14. Declaration Form:  Authors must download the declaration form, duly fill up, manually sign and submit the same along with the contribution. Alternatively, a scanned copy of the filled and signed form is also acceptable over email. We reserve the right not to publish the contribution if not accompanied by the declaration form or does d not meet other requirements.
  15. Liability Regarding Content: The views/opinions expressed in the contributions shall be the author’s own. In the event of any disputes; legal or otherwise arising out of a published contribution, the liability lies solely with the author(s).
  16. Plagiarism:  The Kolkata Kindle firmly believes in respecting Intellectual Property Right and thus requests the contributor the same. In the event of any disputes; legal or otherwise arising out of a published contribution, in this regard, the liability lies solely with the author(s).
